A team of the chair, consisting of Jonas Dovern, Johannes Frank, Alexander Glas, Lena Müller and Daniel Perico, has published a research paper in the journal “Energy Economics”. The study examines the extent to which the reduction in the fuel tax for three months in 2022 was passed on to consumers through price declines in gasoline and diesel. To do this, the team of authors compares the development of fuel prices in Germany with those in other European countries that did not adopt fuel tax changes at the time. For 50 days, the study is freely available at the following link: https://authors.elsevier.com/c/1hh75W3fcwG0k.
